Codeup Veterans

Veteran Support

Codeup is proud to support our service members. Since we began accepting GI Bill benefits in July 2016, 25% of our students have been veterans!

Learn more about our options for veterans, including VA benefits and scholarships, below, or give us a call at (210) 802-7289.

G.I. Bill

We accept VA benefits, which can cover up to 100% of your tuition. Veterans or Veteran’s dependents should work through Codeup’s admissions process before activating their benefits.

If you have any questions about using your benefits, give us a call at (210) 802-7289! Our in-house School Certifying Official will be happy to talk!

Codeup Veteran graduate

Will Staud, USAF

“It was really cool to see the number of veterans in the program. I thought I’d be the only one, but there were quite a few of us!”

Before Codeup, Will served in the US Air Force as a satellite operator. He transitioned directly to Codeup after his service. Will used his Post 9/11 GI Bill to pay for his tuition and cost of living while he successfully completed the program. He was hired as a Cyber Warfare Instructor at Silotech Group two weeks after graduation!

Lloyd Garrison, US Army

“Codeup was great! The process was very simple and easy to navigate. Codeup was really helpful – it was painless.”

Lloyd spent 14 years in the Army as an information systems technician. He discovered Codeup through Operation Code. Because we are the only bootcamp in Texas to accept VA benefits Lloyd was able to use his Post 9/11 GI Bill to attend Codeup. He is now working at Def Logix as an Admin and Software Tester!
